These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Somnus iOS application (“the App”) provided by Somnus (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading or using Somnus, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using Somnus, you confirm you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of service
Somnus provides an iOS application for personal dream journaling, AI-assisted dream interpretation, tarot card readings, and personal reflection. The App is for entertainment, personal reflection, and self-exploration only.
Important: Content generated by Somnus — including dream interpretations and tarot readings — is for personal informational and reflective purposes only. It does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. Do not use Somnus as a substitute for professional consultation.
3. Account and authentication
You may use Somnus as an anonymous guest or by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining account security. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and payments
4.1 Somnus Pro
- Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Pricing and options are shown in the App at the time of purchase.
4.2 Cancellation
Cancel via Apple ID settings: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Somnus → Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the period ends.
4.3 Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple. For refunds, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you create in Somnus. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the App's features. You agree not to enter unlawful or harmful content.
6. Intellectual property
Somnus, including its design, code, tarot imagery, and brand elements, is the property of Somnus and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute without written permission.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI-generated interpretations are probabilistic and should not be treated as factual or professionally authoritative. Somnus does not predict the future, diagnose conditions, or guarantee any outcome.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOMNUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
9. Service changes and termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or applicable local courts as permitted by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We will notify you of material changes through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
